Kara Infante is a Licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist specializing in Women’s Health Physical Therapy. A great addition to the team, Kara brings her expertise in oncology rehabilitation, pelvic floor rehab and biofeedback, and prenatal/postpartum care. Prior to her recent move to Norfolk, Kara previously worked at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kara received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. Passionate about meeting the needs of our special patient popluation, Kara continues her educational pursuits and is always growing in her field to provide her patients with the best and most current care possible. Kara is currently working towards receiving her specialization in Women’s Health Physical Therapy. Kara is an amazing asset to our practice and to the Women's Healthcare community.

INTEGRATIVE is very pleased to welcome Matt Varca to our team. Matt brings a great amount of experience treating dysfunction as a result of biomechanical and neurological assymetry. With a background in orthopedics, sports performance, and an avid student and practitioner of methodology from The Postural Restoration Institute, Matt is sure to be a great asset to our team. Areas of expertise include PRI gait analysis, "Controlling the Frontal Plane," and "The Lateralized Foot and Ankle." Matt was an anatomy lab teaching assistant at both Columbia University and Rutgers University. Continuing education includes: Movement Systems' Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement System (FMS); and Postural Restoration Institute's Myokinematic Restoration, Pelvic Restoration, Postural Respiration, Impingement and Instability, and PRI Integration for Baseball. We know you will be just as happy to welcome Matt to INTEGRATIVE's team as we are.
Catherine has fifteen years of experience teaching and working with clients to reach their personal goals and help them enjoy pain free movement in their lives. She is a Certified Pilates Teacher through Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), a certified personal trainer through American Council on Exercise (ACE), a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), and a Buff Bones Certified Teacher. Working with Catherine will change the way you think about movement, alignment, breathing, and, ultimately, postural awareness. Both personally and professionally, she has seen the many healing benefits of blending mind/body fitness techniques which have enhanced the quality, vitality, and health of her life and the lives of others. Catherine gives her all and gets excited when a student takes learned movement experiences into their lives and begins moving pain free and with confidence. She has an eye like no other instructor and a heart bigger than most, wanting the best for each and every student she encounters. Krysia Witkowski is a physical therapist and owner of INTEGRATIVE Manual Therapy and Wellness. Krysia received her undergraduate degree in sports medicine and psychology from The University of Virginia. She then went on to receive her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Krysia worked as an athletic trainer at the University of Virginia, went to massage school while at UVA, and was on the Blue Ridge Mountains Search and Rescue volunteer team. Ms. Witkowski has completed over
1,000 hours of continuing education in: manual therapy (from
osteopathic and visceral mobilization, to men's and women's healthissues, and cranial, nerve and lymph work); orthopedics/sports medicine; Kinesiotaping; wound care; Postural Restoration and
therapeutic exercise including movement and posture reeducation in the form of Pilates for physical therapists. She is also a Polestar Pilates Certified Rehabilitation instructor. Krysia opened INTEGRATIVE to fulfill her desire to provide quality, skilled care...and through her passion for growth through continued education and a growing team at INTEGRATIVE she continues to strive to provide the best care possible.
